WOW - so the last month has absolutely flown by wayyyyyyy too fast! I still can't believe it is August. I keep wanting to write "July" on everything. Crazy. I've been working on my other 'blog' from scratch. It won't be a "Blogger" style blog, since we already own the domain name for our other family blog and, since it has a pretty steep learning curve, it is taking longer to launch then planned. Oh well. LOL In the meantime, here is a fun video that will make you smile! I came across it when I was surfing the web about 2am, unable to sleep. - ***We were blessed to adopt two beautiful children in the summer of 2008 - a son and a daughter - through open adoption.*** This "journey" has now become one of newbie parents raising 'virtual' twins, navigating the ups and downs of parenthood. (Good thing we have a sense of humor!!:D) Our adoption journey was not an easy experience - we experienced failed matches and a failed adoption, which was devastating, but in the end, we have been blessed in ways we could have never imagined for ourselves. When I have more time I will share more about how our babies found us. It IS the stuff that movies and soap operas are made of...
